When an architect sends you a message in Acelab, you don't need to log in to respond. You can reply directly from your email inbox, and your reply will appear in the conversation thread automatically.
Before You Begin
You must have a manufacturer rep account in Acelab.
Email notifications for conversations must be enabled. To check, go to your account's Notification Settings and confirm the Email toggle is on for conversations. If email notifications are off, you won't receive the emails needed to reply this way.
You can also mute individual conversations using the bell icon in your conversation list. Muted conversations won't generate email notifications.
How It Works
When an architect sends you a message, you will receive an email notification to the address we have on your account. Every notification email you receive has a unique reply-to address tied to that specific conversation. When you hit Reply in your email client and send your response, Acelab routes it back into the right thread — no login required.
Steps
When an architect sends you a message, you'll receive an email notification. The email includes the sender's name, their message, and project details.
In your email, click Reply (not Reply All or Forward).
Type your response above the line that reads:
Please type your reply above this line
Any text below that line — including quoted history — will be ignored.
Send your email as normal.
Your reply will appear in the Acelab conversation thread and the architect will be notified.
What to Expect
Attachments: You can include file attachments in your reply. Small images (such as email signatures) are automatically filtered out.
Message length: Replies are capped at 20,000 characters.
CC recipients: Adding CC addresses outside of Acelab's domain is not supported. If you do CC someone, you'll receive a warning email notifying you that those recipients were not included.
View in Acelab: You can always open the full conversation in the Acelab dashboard by clicking the link in any notification email.
